What To Do...

...When Your 3yr. Old Doesn't Nap?

You have a fashion show!

You dig into the closet and pull out all of  her older sister's dance costumes and let the fun begin!!!

Oh Yes!  We're having fun now.  This is MUCH better than napping.

Hey, come back here!  We're not finished yet...2 more costumes to go.

I wish I knew how to scan old photos into my computer because I could show you how cute Josi looked in these costumes as well. (Before you go and try to 'teach' me in the comment section, I should have clarified and told the truth that I really don't WANT to learn how to scan photos.  There, the confession is out.)

The point is...Josi looked just as yummy in these costumes as Nadia now does! :)

I think she's getting the hang of this 'runway' fashion show don't you?

Except for the sitting down part.  I don't think they do that in Paris.

Last but not least...the "Perfectly Posh in Purple" costume.

The back view of this divine garment.

"Can we do this every day instead of napping?

Uhhhhh....NO! :)

  1. awe...sweet!!!!!!

She's about as cute as you can get :):):):)

And you're funny! I don't wanna learn those things either!!!

    I'm content being ignorant.

  2. Oh my goodness....that is just the sweetest little fashion model I have ever seen :):):) She is absolutely yummy in every way. Move over Heidi Klem (or whatever your name is)...oh wait, I believe it's actually Klum.

Thanks for the chuckle. I LOVED the little photo shoot. Totally edible.

    Love you, friend.

  3. So adorable! What lovely costumes, and what fun to enjoy a fashion show in your very own living room!

  4. Kristin,
Can I just say I love her little painted piggies...and those costumes, ADORABLE. She is perfect from her head to her little painted toes!

    Love finds a way,

  5. Are those ponytails???? Yeah! I didn't know her hair was long enough yet. Looks like she enjoys dressing up in fancy clothes...be careful...you may have a shopper on your hands:)
    (Hunter is Horsebackgirl)

  6. Oh my gosh she is sooo cute!!
She is most definatly a diva in the making!!

  7. She is gonna be so much FUN! That smile is infectious!!!!

  8. Gotta admit I wasn't ready for the fashion show to end. I want and encore!! She is too cute.

I wish you did care to scan the photos. I would love to see them!

  9. How cute is she!?! And I love that her little toes are painted pink, too. :) Loved all the costumes and the sweet little girl who is wearing them. :)

  10. Yeah, don't you have any more costumes?? I'm with Gretchen...I didn't want the fashion show to end! She is perfectly edible :). We've had many no-nap days here as well, only I'm not as creative as you are. But boy do we have a closet full of dance costumes...you may have inspired me to pull them out :)...

  11. Adorable--the kids actually thought those were pics of Josi at first!!!! Sweet!

  12. awwwww!!! i think she found herself a career!:)) lovee itt soooo cute!

  13. Soooo so cute! You can tell she is enjoying this!

  14. Adorable!! The costumes, dress-up Nadia is DIVINE!!

  15. Oh, what fun! It won't be long until all she wants to wear are the lovely costumes! Maybe there's a dance class in Nadia's future too? She's just as cute as she can be.

  16. Precious, precious, precious! Normally I'd agree with Nadia that fashion show trumps nap, but these days I'd really love a nap (and I'm not looking very fashion-show worthy).

Oh I hope the dancing will tire her out because I know how important naptime is (especially when you're trying to teach older siblings).

    Much Love,

  17. I believe she has been watching her Mommy on the run way! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! :)
