Just The Boys!

As I'm packing up, making beds, and closing out our week at the beach, I couldn't leave without posting pictures of the men in my life!

Allen, my almost 14yr. old. I'm loving this boy even as we head into the high school years in homeschooling.  We'll make it as long as I have my bible and a Starbucks right around the corner. :)

Michael, my warrior, heading out to conquer waves unknown. This boy's energy and spirit should be bottled and sold. We'd put those 5-hour drinks out of business!

My main man being the Daddy his daughters need.  Aren't our men sexy when they are being Godly Dads?

Reaching out with those strong, protective hands to assure his newest daughter that he's there for her...always.

Brothers loving on each other the way that only brothers can do. (i.e. wrestling)

They think they don't like each other but I know deep down they will be friends forever.

This young man has never met a sport he cannot conquer.

And this guy has never met a fish he cannot catch!

My handsome man, who is truly a boy at heart, which makes him the best family man for us!

I love my boys!!!

  1. What lovely boys you have :)
I think Michael needs to go w/my girls to the beach. They try so hard to catch fish in the ocean - with their buckets no less :) They'd have a blast!!!

  3. Boys are pretty wonderful, aren't they! Whether big or little they are always a source of amazement to me. I enjoy all my boys(and girls too). While girls are somewhat predictable, not those testosterone types.

  4. Great photos, Kristin! Glad your boys had fun! We enjoyed them too. Micheal would have enjoyed the last morning with Logan. She caught 4 or 5 creatures in the surf!

  10. yes, now that I'm done retaliating... I gotta tell ya, those are some darn good lookin men! :)

And I totally know what you mean about your husband looking so much more handsome to you when he's doing something Godly. Like loving your children, like traveling across the world to claim and LOVE an orphan and completely accept/embrace them as his own.

Yeah, they look pretty darn good right about then!

  11. You certainly are blessed by the men in your life. What a gift to have a husband who seeks God's will in leading your family and shares your calling to adopt. What amazing sons you are raising to be Godly husbands and fathers some day. (Ummm. Do you believe in arranged marriages? If so, could my daughters be put on the waiting list for your handsome sons?)

So glad your family had a very special first trip to the beach with Nadia!

    God Bless,
    Kathie
