So very excited for you all! Nadia is one blessed little girl to have all of you working so hard to get her. Praise God for another milestone!!!!!! Miss you all very much! By the way, must I share, that you now have me hooked on my Starbucks again.......your drink has become mine....and yes it is a real pregnancy craving! Picked one up at the Teeter this morning and was in Heaven!
I guess this means no more harassing phone calls to the local USCIS building. I am sure they will miss the phone ringing off the hook. Glad your finger tips are plump and pampered and they had no trouble reading them:) ps-We are really happy things are moving so fast for you and your little one.
Well, I just talked to your son, my cousin, Allen, and when he told me that you wanted me to post on your blog, and I said I already did, you like screamed (not really:) )THANK YOU! So, I decided to post another comment to make my Auntie happy :) You're ALMOST to the end! (I think) Just think of how it will be when for the first time, when you get to see your special little girl! I'm so honored to have an auntie who home-schools (or will home-school) 3 (soon to be 4) kids! With 1 (soon to be 2) special, precious, down-syndrome child! (P.S. I got to meet Nicole Bell Monday! Such a cutie!)
Woo-hoo!! I remember the first time we got to go and be fingerprinted, it was so exciting to actually be able to do something that didn't require notarizing. I cut my finger 4 days before, and was so worried. But, it worked out fine. Congratulations, one more step down!
"To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways: we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness. It should rather be an expression of breathless expectation."- Oswald Chambers
I am a Northern Gal transplanted in the South for over 20 years now. I have a wonderful husband who is the best partner God could have given me. I have 4 terrific kiddos--3 born from my womb and one born in my heart through adoption. Join me as I chronicle our lives as newly adoptive parents and as we navigate our new normal of having 2 daughters with Down syndrome.
Yea :)!!
