A Time To Weep

I'm copying the post of a bloggy friend because she put into words so eloquently the sadness I'm feeling right now over the death of a little girl with Down syndrome that we got to meet at Nadia's orphanage.  Please visit this link and pray about your part in making sure that not one. single. more. orphan has to die without ever knowing the love of a family.  Today is truly a time to weep:

  2. My heart aches for this precious little one and the many, many others just like her all over the world. It sends me to my knees to ask the Father of the fatherless, "What can I do?"

  3. Oh Kristin....isn't this just so sad? What a little doll that deserved so much more than what she got here on earth. Now...she has more than we can ever imagine. Can you even imagine how she was greeted at the gates of heaven?! She never went to an institution!

  4. I am so sorry. :( No child should ever die alone and you know what? I don't think she did. No human was available for her but I am confident that she was held by God Himself as she breathed her last breaths on earth. And now she dances with Him...

  5. Kristin,
This is so sad, I'm weeping right now. It's heart wrenching that an innocent child has to die this way.
It is comforting knowing that she was embraced by the loving arms of our Savior and will never again know the pain of loneliness.
